Description

A remote overflow exists in IBM's DB2. DB2 fails to perform proper bounds checking in the DB2LPORT function resulting in a buffer overflow. With a specially crafted request, an attacker can cause execute arbitrary code resulting in a loss of confidentiality and/or integrity.

Solution

Currently, there are no known workarounds or upgrades to correct this issue. However, IBM has released a patch to address this vulnerability.
