Description

(Description Provided by CVE) : The SILC_SERVER_CMD_FUNC function in apps/silcd/command.c in silc-server 1.0.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL dereference and daemon crash) via a request without a cipher algorithm and an invalid HMAC algorithm.

Upgrade to version 1.0.3 or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
