CTSS on the IBM 7094 contains a flaw that may allow a local denial of service. The issue is triggered when a user called the XEC opcode to execute an instruction out of line. This causes the machine to process I-cycles until an operator manually reset the CPU, and will result in loss of availability for the machine.
