Description

A remote overflow exists in Internet Graphics Service (IGS). IGS fails to properly sanitize HTTP requests resulting in a buffer overflow. With a specially crafted request, an attacker can execute arbitrary code resulting in a loss of confidentiality, integrity, and/or availability.

On Windows operating systems, successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code as the local "System" account, which could result in full control of the system.

On UNIX operating systems, successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code as the "SAP system administrator" account, which could result in full control of the SAP system installation.
