Description |
A remote overflow exists in the xine-lib library and the MPlayer media player. These products fail to check the length of buffers received when processing RDP packets during session negotiation with a RTSP server, resulting in a stack overflow. A malicious server operator can abuse these flaws to execute arbitrary code, resulting in a loss of confidentiality and integrity.
