Neurotechnology VeriEye biometric iris scanning sensors are vulnerable to a replay attack. The issue is due to the scanners using a digital iriscode representation of an eye for making comparisons to existing iris patterns in the database. By submitting just the digitial iriscode to the device, an attacker could bypass the device and gain access to a restricted area.
