Description

Barricade contains a flaw that may lead to an unauthorized password exposure. It is possible to gain access to plaintext passwords when an attacker spoofs the IP address of a currently logged in administrator and submits a specially crafted URL, which may lead to a loss of confidentiality, integrity.

Solution

Currently, there are no known upgrades or patches to correct this issue. It is possible to correct the flaw by implementing the following workaround(s):

-Set idle time to 1min.
-Use MAC filtering so that only known MAC address can access your
network.
-Use WEP encryption for the wireless router.
