<em style='font-weight:bold;'>(Description Provided by <a href="http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=2005-4860" target="_blank">CVE</a>)</em> : Spectrum Cash Receipting System before 6.504 uses weak cryptography (static substitution) in the PASSFILE password file, which makes it easier for local users to gain privileges by decrypting a password.
