Microsoft Windows 2000 contains a flaw that allows a local or remote attacker to gain administrative privileges. The issue is due to the Lsass.exe program failing to sanitize LDAP search requests. If an attacker provides a specially crafted request, they can overflow a buffer to execute arbitrary code.
