Geeklog contains a flaw that may allow an attacker to carry out an SQL injection attack. The issue is due to the lib-sessions.php script not properly sanitizing user-supplied input to the sessid variable. This may allow an attacker to inject or manipulate SQL queries in the backend database.

Solution
Upgrade Geeklog to version 1.4.0sr1 or 1.3.11sr4 or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. Media Gallery users can upgrade to 1.2.4. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
