Description |
A remote overflow exists in NetBackup Enterprise Server. Netbackup fails to perform adequate bounds checking during a call to the sscanf() function which copies user-supplied data resulting in a stack-based buffer overflow. With a specially crafted request, an attacker can cause arbitrary code execution resulting in a loss of integrity.
