Solution |
To set passwords that will secure your router:
1. Establish a telnet connection to your router. Refer to your router documentation. 2. Type 'enable' to enter administration mode. 3. Type 'set password exec clear NEWPASSWORD exec' to set the exec mode password. 4. Type 'set password enable clear NEWPASSWORD enable' to set the superuser password.
