GNU make is supposedly installed SUID in /usr/local/bin/make whereas the normal make installed by AIX is /usr/bin/make -> /usr/ccs/bin/make which is not installed SUID.
Solution |
Currently, there are no known upgrades or patches to correct this issue. It is possible to correct the flaw by implementing the following workaround(s): remove the SUID bit from the program /usr/local/bin/make using the command chmod.
