Description

Multiple Horde products contain a flaw that allows a remote cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. This flaw exists because the application does not validate certain unspecified input before being displayed to the user while viewing a vCard. This may allow a user to create a specially crafted URL that would execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between their browser and the server.

Solution

Upgrade Horde Application Framework to version 3.3.11 or higher and Horde Groupware and Horde Groupware Webmail Edition to version 1.2.9 or higher, as they have been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
