PclZip 2.8.2 (the latest version) has a directory traversal weakness whereby a local path in the archive containing '../' may result in a file write outside of the output directory (specified by PCLZIP_OPT_PATH) when the file is extracted. This is not prevented by the PCLZIP_OPT_EXTRACT_DIR_RESTRICTION setting introduced in PclZip 2.5, circa March 2006 and appears to be by-design.
