Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA) contains a flaw related to the passing of packets before configuration has been loaded. This may allow a remote attacker to bypass access restrictions by sending network traffic during device startup.
Upgrade to version 8.2(3) or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
