Description

NetBSD contains a flaw that may allow a local denial of service. The issue is triggered when the kern.proc sysctl tree handler fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input and allocates kernel memory per a user controlled value related to the number of command arguments, which may be exploited to cause a denial of service or to trigger allocation assertions.
