WebKit contains an overflow condition that is triggered as user-supplied input is not properly validated when handling a certain style attribute of a frameset element. With a specially crafted web page, a context-dependent attacker can cause a heap-based buffer overflow, resulting in a denial of service or potentially allowing the execution of arbitrary code.

OSVDB is not currently aware of a solution for this vulnerability.

Upgrade to Apple Safari version 5.1 or 5.0.6 or higher, as they have been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
