Description

WebKit contains a flaw that may lead to unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information. The issue is triggered when calling the 'parseURL' function during CSS content parsing. With a specially crafted web page, a context-dependent attacker may disclose the contents of local files on a user's system.

Solution

It has been reported that this issue has been fixed. Upgrade to version 1.2.0, or higher, to address this vulnerability.

Upgrade to Apple Safari version 5.1 or 5.0.6 or higher, as they have been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
