Description

Multiple Mozilla products contain a use-after-free flaw related to the nsSMILTimeValueSpec::ConvertBetweenTimeContainers() function. The issue is triggered when handling SVG animations. This may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code.

Solution

Upgrade Firefox to version 3.6.28, 11.0 or 10.0.3 or higher, Thunderbird to version 3.1.20, 11.0 or 10.0.3 or higher and SeaMonkey to version 2.8 or higher, as they have been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
