Description |
IBM Directory Server contains a flaw that allows a remote attacker to access arbitrary files outside of the web path. The issue is due to the ldacgi.exe program not properly sanitizing user input, specifically traversal style attacks (../../) supplied via the "Template" variable.

Upgrade to version 3.2.2 Fix Pack 4 (APAR IR53631), 4.1 Fix Pack 3 (APAR IR52692) or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
