Description

Websense Content Gateway contains a flaw that allows a remote cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. This flaw exists because the application does not validate the 'menu' parameter upon submission to the monitor/m_overview.ink script. This may allow a user to create a specially crafted request that would execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between their browser and the server.

Solution

OSVDB is not aware of a solution for this vulnerability. The vendor plans to address this issue in version 7.7.3, which is scheduled to be released in December 2012.
