Description

Slideshow Plugin for WordPress contains a flaw that allows a remote cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. This flaw exists because the application does not validate the 'settings' and 'inputFields' parameters upon submission to the views/SlideshowPluginPostType/settings.php script. This may allow a user to create a specially crafted request that would execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between their browser and the server.

Solution

Currently, there are no known workarounds or upgrades to correct this issue. However, a patch has been committed to the SVN repository that addresses this vulnerability.
