Description |
Net-Acct contains a flaw that may allow a local malicious user to perform a symlink attack using a temporary file (/tmp/nacctd.write.[pid]) created with the rite_list and dump_curr_list functions. The issue is triggered when a local malicious user creates a specially crafted temporary file and creates a symlink to an arbitrary file. It is possible that the flaw may allow arbitrary code execution resulting in a loss of integrity.
